Welcome to my newborn blog where you will see some beautiful babies I had the absolute privilege of snuggling.

Daddy is currently deployed and has a beautiful baby daughter to meet when he comes home. It is such an honor to serve our military families and I’m so glad I can do it as a newborn baby photographer in Austin, TX, capturing such a special time daddy has to miss while serving our country. She is truly a beautiful baby and I love all of the beautiful neutrals, outfits and headbands mom picked out. Big brother is smitten with her as well. Their sibling pictures are so cute! It was such a pleasure working with this sweet family!

Thank you so much for the beautiful photos. I really appreciate the time you spent taking these… They came out so perfect!!! ” Kristina

The pics of my granddaughter and grandson came out beautiful...I totally loved them all…such precious keepsakes! We appreciate her talent and patience. Outcome was worth every penny!” Grandma

My newborn sessions are styled with a simple, classic look customized with your colors and highlighted with handmade accessories and props. As an Austin, TX baby photographer my sessions are based in Austin, TX and the beautiful surrounding Hill Country area including Drippings Springs, Bee Caves and Lakeway. I have mentored with two of the top newborn photographers in the last three years, am current on my whooping cough vaccine and have studied the best ways to keep baby warm, sleepy, safe and comfortable during their session. A tip I always give my mom and dads is to stroke the area above their little nose, between their eyes in a downward motion. I consulted with an acupuncturist on key pressure points and found this point is known as the third eye in yoga. You are essentially “closing” their eye when you apply pressure to this point and stroking downward.

Please check out some amazing photographers and absolute inspirations to me! Their work is gorgeous!!!

This beautiful baby girl is so pretty in pink. I never get tired of dressing up baby girls in pink, lace and tiny, flowery headbands. I love snuggling all babies as an Austin TX baby photographer, but the girls are a special treat since I have three beautiful boys.  I think this first image of her is my favorite and a new favorite pose. I feel it’s a picture of how they grew in the womb and a beautiful peek into their tiny life before they make their entrance into the world. And, because she made her entrance into the world a couple of weeks early, she was just so tiny. No matter how many babies I see their size never ceases to amaze me. They are always tiny, perfect and precious.

Happy Easter! This little newborn bunny is only four days old and was born just in time to celebrate her first Easter with Mom and Dad. She was such a sweetheart! She even posed perfectly with her two big sisters. I’m feel like the luckiest Austin TX baby photographer with such beautiful babies and sweet families!

One of the sweetest things about photographing newborns is witnessing the new love mom and dad have for their new, most special person. I love these family newborn photographs and mom, dad and baby are all just gorgeous! He had the pretteiest nursery and one of mom’s requests was to use this beautiful cow hide rug which covers his floor. I’m so glad she did. I’m a little bit obsessed with these images with all the pattern and how it really highlights how tiny babies truly are. You can’t always tell how small newborns are in their photographs and this little guy was no exception. He only weighed about 7 lbs. and was quite the little snuggle bug. We even got  a little smile out of him and those are always priceless in newborn photographs!

Meet sweet baby Carolina! She was the most perfect little sweetpea and she was already five weeks old for her first baby photos in Austin, TX. The general rule is to schedule your newborn photography session when babies are between 5- 12 days old. And, while this guideline gives us the best chance to get your newborn photos as the babies still behave very much as the are in the womb, you should always try a session if these images are important to you. She was a little doll and slept for us the entire session and mom and dad have some stunning newborn images to remember this very special time with her.

I love and appreciate when my clients leave me feedback and it does make me happy to know how important their images are to them.

“Kim was amazing! She squeezed us in for a newborn shoot even though my daughter was 5 weeks old. Others told me no…. Kim was very gentle and sweet with Carolina while she captured the most beautiful shots! I absolutely love every one!”-Mom

Thank you for taking such lovely photos of my grandchild!”-Grandma
